Greenfingers Greenhouse

If you are looking for specialty herbs at the market, Green Fingers Greenhouse is a great place to start. Cindy Brooks fills her space with a wonderful variety of herb plants, succulents in dainty tea cups, cacti in cute containers, and multiple varieties of vegetables for your garden. To help her customers choose just the right veggie variety, she has a resource guide on her table to help you learn.
Growing things just came naturally to Cindy from a young age. Her grandfather built her an a-frame stand with a grow light for her basement, and she
expanded to a 10×12 fiberglass house built by her dad. Eventually, as a teen, she purchased a 20×50 Quonset house where she grew plants and sold them at the Waco trade lot and directly from her greenhouse. Her high school days at Crest High involved time with the FFA horticulture team, even competing at the state level.
Later the love of plants led her to NC State, where she studied Horticultural Science with a minor in Floriculture. After graduation in 1982, she taught horticulture, agriculture, and biotechnology at Crest High School and Crest Middle School for over 25 years. Retirement gave her time to build a new greenhouse, where she grows house plants, bedding plants, succulents and cacti, herbs, and perennials.
