Wild Dahlia Homestead

Stacey Costner has carved out a highly-diversified farming operation on land once tended by her grandparents. There you’ll find a mix of sustainably-grown fruits and vegetables, honey bees, dairy and meat goats, and pastured poultry.

Wild Dahlia Homestead reflects the very core of sustainable agriculture. In her efforts to produce food and fiber, Stacey Costner embraces three broad goals: Profit over the long term; Stewardship of the land, air and water, and; Quality of life for farmers, ranchers and their communities. In speaking about her farming philosophy, Stacey says, “I am engaging with the traditional wisdom and resources of my grandparents while living and growing consciously towards sustainable systems and most of all respect for the wild Earth that sustains us all.”

Don’t expect to find the ordinary when you shop with Wild Dahlia Homestead. Stacey’s offerings include specialty lettuce, chocolate sweet peppers, heirloom field peas, purple okra, muscadine grapes, freshly-dug sweet potatoes, ornamental gourds, lima beans, luffa sponges, and cut flowers to name a few. The colors, textures, and flavors are a truly delight for the senses!
